lost in translation

well, things use to happen when you least expect them. yesterday in the evening we started gossiping and joking around with a girl who worked at the internet cafe with the result that she took us to a nice bar with billiard. in thailand this sport seems to have a lot of culture and the people play pretty well. we had to challenge the winner of the table in order to play, jan played like a young good and won 7 games in a row whereas i got distracted by the beautiful looks of my opponent and couldn't concentrate on the game ;)
after some beers in the dawn - the cocks were crowing – together with the two girls we were invited to a friend’s place to have cafe and relax a bit. the experience felt a bit like in the film "lost in translation" by sofia coppola. Concluding we made a huge private tour through the city in the car of this guy and came back to our hostel at midday totally exhausted and prepared for a huge siesta.

Bueno, las cosas suelen pasar cuando uno menos las espera. Anoche surgió una conversación con una chica del internet cafe y tras tantear un poco nos llevó a un sitio de billard muy chulo. Parece que en thailandia ese deporte tenga mucha cultura y la gente juega bastante bien. Teniamos que retar al gandar del partido para poder jugar. Mi amigo jan jugó como un dios joven y ganó 7 partidas mientras yo me deje distraer por los encantos de mi oponente. Tras unas cervezas hasta que se escuchó los gritos de los gallos nos invitaron a tomar dafé en su casa. Juntos con las dos chicas y el chico estabamos alli sintiendonos un poco como en la pelicula “lost in translation” de sofia coppola. La aventura terminó con una excurión por la ciudad en el coche del chico, por medio dia caimos en nuestras camas muertos de sueño.
