Aclimatisation – aclimatizacion

There are many ways of getting in touch with a new place... After strolling around and having dinner we were so exhausted, that we were in danger of falling asleep standing, so patricia went to the hostel whereas jan and i tried to wake up again by drinking beer and observing the Thailand’s party scene. After contemplating beautiful young thai-women with old or rather unattractive European guys for some time we came to the conclusion that bangkok isn´t the opportune place for guys with some sense of moral and idealism left. If we had the chance to rub of the metaphoric “millionaire” tattoo from our foreheads and get in touch with the people living here in a friendly way without stereo types, we would love to do it. Anyhow, there doesn´t seem to exist a way to delete the friendly smile from the people´s faces. Even when they want to send you to hell for not letting them pull your leg, they do it with a smile.
About the sites in Bangkok I will write you when we have seen some more.

Existen muchas maneras de adentrase en nuevos sitios… Tras un paseo por el centro estabamos tan hechos polvo, que faltaba poco para quedarnos dormidos de pie. Patricia regresó al hostal mientras jan y yo intentamos todo para vencer el sueño tomando cervezas y observando la marcha. Contemplando chicas thailandesas hermosas con europeos viejos y/o poco atractivos llegamos a la conclusion que Bangkok no es el sitio indicado para tios con por lo menos algo de moral y idealismo. Si tuvieramos la oportunidad de quitarnos el tatuaje metaforico de “milionario” de vuestros frentes y conocer a la gente de aqui sin prejuicios hacia nosotros, nos encantaría. A ver si hay suerte. De todas formas no parece existir una manera de borrar las sonrisas de las caras de la gente. En el casa que quieran mandarte al infierno por no dejar que te timen, lo harén con una sonrisa. Ya os contaré algo sobre los sitios curiosos de Bangkok en cuanto hayamos visto algunos más.

Patricia: una de mis mejores/pocas amigas, madrilegna, redactora, ahora mismo buscando nuevos retos en su vida, viajera apasionada, divertida, nada complicada ...vamos, la mejor compagnera de viajes que se puede imaginar.

Jan: segundo amigo mas viejo con buenos jugetes (hasta hoy, estoy escribiendo en su ordenador ;), tiroles, programador de aplicaciones, dejo su piso, vendio su coche, renuncio su trabajo para progresar en el yoga en thailandia y neuva zelanda, valiente, lleno de energia, abierto a cualquier tipo de cosas no convencionales o locas... consigue hacerte olvidar de tus limitaciones y te anima a disfrutar de la vida a saco.

... at least something like this sounded from the loudspeaker before leaving the automatic stairs ;) what a great way of welcoming us!!! bangkok is a very energetic place with a big chaos of cars, scooters and passers by. At the moment I am feeling like in a dream, accepting everything which is surrounding me because I expect to wake up some moment. after 17 hours flying (madrid, munich, bangkok) I feel quite exhausted, so I will tell you more the following days...

(el rey del rock an roll) … o algo parecido sonaba la voz automatica al salir de las escaleras automaticas en aeropuerto ;) vaya bienvenida!!! bangkok es un sitio lleno de energia y caos. ahora mismo me siento como en un sueño, acceptando todo lo que estoy viendo, esperando despertarme algun momento. tras un fuelo de mas de 17 horas en total estoy hecho polvo asi que ya os contare mas en los siguientes dias...

bueno, varios amigos españoles se pusieron un poco nerviosos al enterarse que quería escribir mi blog solo en inglés. como en realidad el español es mucho más importante y en fin y al cabo ya soy medio español y debo contribuir algo a mi segunda patria ;) parece que no tengo otra elección que escribir un blog en dos o tres idiomas, para que estén todos contentos. la extensión de la traducción va a depender de vuestro interés, así que a escribir comentarios y participar.
pp. mi amigo martin dice que lo escriba solo en inglés, porqué un poco de desafio no nos viene mal a ninguno ;)

my spanish friends got a little upset because of my idea writing the blog in english. at least i´m almost spanish and that´s why i have to pay some contribute to my second home. so i guess i´ll have to write this blog in three languages - i´ll see about that ;)

naja, die sache isch die, dass sich meine spanischen freunde zu schwitzen angfangt haben, dass i den blog nur auf enlisch schreiben wollt. um gerecht zu sein müsst i den blog also a auf deitsch schreiben, damit alle glücklich sein, aber des geht zu weit. im endeffekt wirds so sein wie im vorigen eintrag beschrieben. die spanier sollen lei a bissl enlisch lernen und sich a bissl anstrengen ;)
